LOVE MOVIE

THE LAST SONG

The Last Song is an american movie directed by Julie Anne Robinson and protagonized by Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. It's based on the Nicholas Sparks' book The Last Song.

This movie is about a girl, Ronnie, who come at her father's house to spend the summer. In the village of her father, she meets a boy, Will, and they fall in love. A part from this, the doctors diagnose a stomach cancer to her father.

This movie have pure love and romantic love. Also it has paternal love. About the pure and romantic love, the main characters are totally in love and their love story it's so beautiful. And about the paternal love... At the begining of the movie, Ronnie and her dad doesn't have a good relationship (because, in the past, her parents were divorced and her father moved to North Carolina without her, and leaving Ronnie, her mother and her brother alone), but, during the film, Ronnie understands her father and it's nice and super beautiful to see how their relationship improves! And, at the end of the movie, their relationship is full of love and it's so emotional. The sad part it's when her father dies because of cancer... It's so sad because Ronnie finally has a good relationship with him. But it has a emotional part: when Ronnie, at his funeral, plays with the piano the song that her father wrote for her (and, also, the song was not finished, so Ronnie finished for him).

I liked that movie because the love story between the main characters is very beautiful, and it's not very very very romantic (because, it's like, that types of love stories that it's always happiness and love and more love... No, it's too much for me). Also, there are parts when Ronnie and Will get mad and you understand Ronnie and also you understand Will and then when they forgive each other is so perfect! And I like the movie because, a part from teenagers love, it has a familiar problem that Ronnie have to fix and also dramatic parts (like the cancer). And the end, it's my favourite part. I think that it's the perfect ending for that movie (I don't want to reveal the final part, but I think that I have told to much things about the movie and maybe I said some big spoilers so... Sorry!).

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE LIST

Cultural Landscape of Honghe Hani Rice Terraces

The Cultural Landscape of Honghe Hani Rice Terraces was inscribed in the UWHL in 2013 and it's a cultural site.

The Rice Terraces are in China. They are an spectacular terraces that cascade down the slopes of the Ailao Mountains to the banks of the Hong River. They were created many years ago by the Hani people, who wanted to built a system to bring the water of the mountains to their terraces of rice. Some animals (like buffalos, ducks, fishes...) work on these terraces and, obviously, so do the people. The people adore the sun, moon, mountains, rivers, forests, fire... They live in villages situated between the forests of the top of the mountain and the terraces. Their houses are called "mushroom houses". The people are also in a extraordinary harmony between they and their environment.

I like this site because I found it very impressive and beautiful. It's a nice place where there are nice people. Also, I like it because is in China, and China is far away from here and I like to discover new and distant cultures. I think it's a amazing place and very different from the rest that I've come in my life.

But, the main reason it's because it's very beautiful and if I go there, I'll learn so many new and interesting things and have a great time!

SHAKESPEARE

William Shakespeare was born on Stratford-upon-Avon in 1564, and he died in 1616. He was a poet and a playwright and he's considerate the greatest writer in the english language. His work consists of 38 plays, 154 sonets and some poems.

He married Anne Hathaway when he was 18 and he had 3 children with her. Then, he went to London to work as an actor and a writer. In the Globe Theatre, built in 1599, Shakespeare performed his firsts plays. In 1613 the theatre was destroyed, and in 1997 was built another one similar to the fisrt one.

Shakespeare’s work is still popular today because of these fantastic and quite simply action-packed stories that Shakespeare wrote.

This is the story of Antonio, who have to return money to a man, and, if he don't return it, he will lose a piece of his body.

HAMLET:

AS YOU LIKE IT:

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

- Learn languages. This summer I will not get on a job (because I'll be 16 on 16th of August, so I will be too young to work in the firsts months of summer), so I want to improve my english and french by my own.

- Go to the United Kingdom to learn english. This resolution is basically into the first one, because it's basically the same. But, go to the United Kingdom one or two weeks to learn will be so cool and I want to do it. I think it's a very nice experience to see how the english people really are, how they life and improve the english.

- Getting my motorbike license. I want to do it because, for me, it will mean a lot. I want to do it in summer, because it's when I have free time to study and practice.

- Learn how to cook. I know how to cook basic things, but I want to learn more. This resolution also I want to do it in summer, because my mom doesn't work in summer, and she can teach me how to cook.

- Spend more time with my friends. I see my friends in the high school and, some of them, I often meet them. But I want to spend more time with them, like, all together, because this is the last grade that we'll do together, and I don't want to distance with my friends.

- Be happier. I considerate me a happy person, but I think that all of us can be happier, and that's a thing that it's very important to improve;)

BEST MOMENT OF MY HOLIDAYS

This christmas was full of homework. Specially, we had a lot of group projects, so we've got to meet all together, and it was so difficult. Also the group projects took me a lot of time to do my single homework and study for the exams and, in some moments, I've been very stressed.

But, obviously, I had a really good time with my family and friends. The present I liked the most was a new mobile phone. But, for me, the really important thing of Christmas is be with your family and enjoy it;)

I think that the best moment of my holidays was when I went to celebrate the end of the year with my friends in Sant Pere. I had dinner on Mar's house, because my parents were with their friends and they couldn't bring me to the party. I had a great time with her and her family, specially when we ate the grapes and we celebrate all together the new year; and when Mar and me prepared ourselves for the party (like putting our dresses, putting on make up...)

The party was so great! Because a lot of people of the high school came to the party. That day everyone was so nice and we all were like friends, I felt so close to everyone, it was so pleasant. Also, the music was so good because the DJ put new songs and old songs that were so popular when I was little and that gave me a lot of memories. But, the most of the time the DJ was putting actual songs.

I chose that moment like the best moment of my holidays because it was diferent. I obviously had a great time with my family these days but the party was so cool, with a lot friends, and I think that it's when I enjoyed the most, just dancing with friends, celebrating the new year!

XMAS SPECIAL

HARD SELL AND SOFT SELL:

HARD SELL: is an advertisement or campaign that uses a more direct, forceful, and overt sales message. A hard sell is designed to get a consumer to purchase a good or service in the short-term, rather than evaluate his or her options and potentially decide to wait on the purchase.

SOFT SELL: is an advertisement or campaign that uses a more subtle, casual, or friendly sales message. A soft sell is designed to avoid angering potential customers and pushing them away. Because soft selling is a low-pressure sales technique, it may not result in a sale the first time a product is presented.

MY WORLD

This summer I went to a cruise on the Baltic Sea. I visited so many countries: Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden and Germany.

Estonia: I didn't visit a lot of Estonia (only a few places of the capital, Tallinn) because it was the first day and my family and I were so tired (because we had to take a plane on Barcelona and we had to woke up so early). But I have to say that the estonian cuisine (for me) is horrible! I think I didn't like it because it's very different from the mediterranean food.

Russia: We arrived at Russia the next day and we stayed here for 2 days. We visited St Petersburg. People think that russians are serious people; and yes, it's true. Russian people are very different than Spanish people. For example, I didn't saw anyone laughing, shouting... All the people were serious. And, also, a lot of buildings were grey, a very sad colour. Our guide said that the last year the city council appointed a law that says that no one could build another gray (big) building. A part from this, we visited a very beautiful church, The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, also called the Church on Spilt Blood.

Finland: We visited the capital, Helsinki. It's a very beautiful city! It's small compared to Madrid or Barcelona. People on Finland are so nice and kind, but the prices on Finland are very high! My father bought a coffee and it costed 5,50€. So expensive! In Finland we didn't visit monuments, we just walked arround the city. It was so relaxing.

Sweden: We visited Stockholm. Sweden it's very similar to Finland. The people are also nice and gentile, the products so expensive too... We took a tourist bus and we saw the city.

Germany: We visited Lübeck, a city in northen Germany. We visited St. Mary's Church and the Holsten Gate and we took a lot of photos! We spend the rest of the day visiting the city.

A part from all the beautiful places we visit, I did some friends on this cruise: Martí, Arnau, Víctor and Marta (Martí and Arnau are brothers and Víctor and Marta are brothers too). Marta and I became very close friends and we still in contact through social networks. She lives in Barcelona. Also, in summer, she came in my house to spend a few days and then I went to Barcelona in her house. We want to do it again next summer and also, this winter we want to go ski together. This were the best hollidays ever!
