Lately, everyone was talking about we shouldn't discriminate anybody about his or her body. Basically, that we shouldn't criticize fat people. And I agree with it, everyone is different and we have to respect each other.
But, if we have to respect fat people, why we don't have to respect skinny people? There are people (specially girls) who want to be slim and have a "perfect body", but if someone is skinnier than what's considered the "perfect body", that person is anorexic or ugly because he or she's too much skinny.
For example, one day I saw an image of a chubby model, I read the comments and everyone was saying that she was perfect, more beautiful than the skinny models nowadays. Everyone was defending her. And I was like, it's ok, she's so beautiful. But, then, I saw an image of a skinny model, I read the comments and most of the people was saying things like "OMG she's not beautiful at all!" "She's ugly, so skinny" "She's not a woman, she's a stick". And I asked myself "Why? Why everyone criticize skinny people and defends fat people?". If you respect fat models, respect skinny models. I find this so hypocrite, you say everyone is perfect, just the way they are, but if they're skinny they are ugly. Please, no. If fat models are perfect, skinny models are perfect too.
With this, I want to say that we don't have to criticize anyone because of his or her body, either skinny people, or fat people.
